K-6 computer science program
This is an after-school computer club led by instructors with outstanding credentials. Our classes run for eight weeks and are composed of four modules as follows:
MODULE 1: SOCIETY & THE INTERNET
MODULE 2: COMPUTER SCIENCE BASICS
MODULE 3: INTRODUCTION TO NETWORKS
MODULE 4: THE INTERNET & SMART CITIES
In this eight-week course students will learn how computers process information, what are computer languages and how to write a simple program, what is the internet, as well as the hazards, challenges, and opportunities of social networking. This course is designed to offer a broad perspective on the field of computer science and beyond, presenting to K6 students a vast array of possibilities to inspire and guide them in their future academic interests.
Tuesdays after school.
